patchpieces presents...
1999 Block of the Month, "Farm Friendly"
Since we got a late start, this year's quilt is kind of a Block of the Month and kind of a Mystery ......maybe more like a Puzzle Quilt ......but you will have to trust me to help you put the pieces together!! January, February, and March blocks are all the same block, "Farm Friendliness", but are different sizes and colors. (Jan. and Feb. are both supposed to be 6" blocks)
  • These "Farm Friendly" blocks all have -- you guessed it -- a farm theme. Select fabrics of your choice. Yardage amounts for blocks are not given. My intention is that you use your scrap stash or fat quarter collection! The blocks you see here will be earthy/country tones and solids for ease of printing. I will give fabric amounts for borders in December. Remember.... this IS free.... so have fun!
  • Blocks will vary in size, but you will have enough blocks to make a small sampler-type quilt in December. Instructions for borders and settings will be given in December.
  • Blocks sizes listed are finished sizes. Click on block image for rotary cutting instructions.
