Patti's EQ6 Gallery

A traditional Dutch hex design. To create the scallops around the circle I used the new circle tool (pie wedge style) to create a half circle. I then rotated it 15 degrees, cloned & flipped to end up with a mirror image pair. I selected both half circles and used WreathMaker (12 clusters) to do the rest.

Look ma, no closed shapes! In EQ6 we can now draw open curves for quilting stencils, embroidery...and sashiko! I used the new Circle tool in PatchDraw to create perfect half circles for this sashiko design called Plovers.

Examples of some of the appliqu you'll learn in my EQ6 Appliqu Design class at QuiltUniversity.com. The class uses all those new PatchDraw tools in EQ6, plus Wreathmaker!
